Terms & Event Policies

Registration and event details
These policies apply to all Myrtle October events. Review the price, confirmed inclusions, and registration requirements before paying. Separate offerings require separate registration unless stated otherwise.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe. Admission prices, deposits, down payments, payment schedules, and any remaining balance will be stated in the details for each event or offering before purchase. For an experience still being explored, any unconfirmed details will be clearly identified. A down payment is not full payment and does not confirm details that have not yet been announced.
Organizer cancellation and full refunds
If an event or experience does not take place or Myrtle October cancels it for any reason, all payments collected for that event or experience will be refunded in full, including admission payments, deposits, down payments, and any additional payments. Refunds will be arranged through the original payment method where available; processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
Guest cancellations, transfers, and substitutions
If your plans change, email octobermyrtle@gmail.com before the event to discuss cancellation, transfer, or guest substitution. Any event-specific arrangements will be communicated in writing. Transfers and substitutions require organizer confirmation so registration, capacity, and event requirements can be checked. This does not change the full-refund commitment for an experience that does not take place or is canceled by Myrtle October.
Event changes
Event dates, venues, schedules, and other details will be stated in each event description, with any unconfirmed details clearly identified. Confirmed details and material changes will be communicated to registered guests. If a material change means you can no longer attend, contact Myrtle October to discuss your registration before accepting the revised arrangements. A canceled event will not be replaced with a credit instead of the promised full refund.
Participation, age, and venue rules
These experiences are intended for adults. Any specific age requirement or alcohol-related restriction will be stated with the event details before attendance. Guests must follow venue rules and applicable alcohol requirements. Participation in activities and exchanges is voluntary; respect another guest’s choice to decline.
Conduct and ending attendance
Guests must follow Professional Ethics & Event Standards, respect personal and physical boundaries, and refrain from harassment, discrimination, coercion, intimidation, or unwanted advances. Serious violations may result in attendance being ended to protect guests and the experience. Any payment question arising from removal will be reviewed individually; this provision does not reduce the organizer-cancellation refund promise.
Photography, recording, and privacy
Photography, recording, livestreaming, and social posting may be restricted. Follow the rules communicated for your event and obtain permission before capturing or publicly identifying another guest. Do not share guest lists or another attendee’s contact information without permission. Any organized promotional photography arrangements will be communicated separately.
